Using the Cultural Transformation Tools® (CTT)
There are three main types of users of the Cultural Transformation Tools (CTT)—consultants, internal HR, and coaches. If you want to use CTT in your organisation, you can either contact a local CTT Certified Consultant or train one of your own in-house change agents.
The certification courses have the intention to build your competence and confidence of how to interpret and use the CTT models and tools.
In choosing a training course, please consider your own needs and desired outcome for becoming CTT Certified.
- CTT Part 1 – Foundation: You become a certified user of the Cultural Transformation Tools (CTT) after successfully completing CTT Part 1. This two-day training is the foundation of the CTT training program and covers the Seven Levels of Consciousness model, the different types of values assessments available, the results and indices generated from the surveys, how to interpret the data, and how to work with Barrett Values Centre® in commissioning surveys. The objective with this training is to give you the theoretical background and basic understanding of the CTT models and tools, with less focus on the practical application of the models and tools in the cultural transformation process. CTT Part 1 is available in a face-to-face or virtual classroom setting. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to begin using a majority CTT products with your clients or within your own organisation. You will also become a member of the global CTT Community network. The course is based on Richard Barrett’s book, The Values-Driven Organisation.
- CTT Part 2 – Building a Values-Driven Organisation: The second phase of CTT training is designed to help you strengthen your understanding of the CTT Models and Tools and the process of cultural transformation. This three-day course gives you an opportunity to go more deeply into interpreting the results of values assessments, shows you how to deliver the feedback from a Leadership Assessment, gives you the experience of using the “Four Why’s” process for developing Vision/Mission statements, explains how to choose espoused values and how to develop behaviour statements for the chosen values, and much more. The CTT Part 2 course is available in a face-to-face or virtual classroom setting. Once you have completed CTT Part 2, you will have access to all CTT products. The course is based on Richard Barrett’s book, The Values-Driven Organisation.
- CTT Part 1&2 Combined: This course is CTT Part 1 and CTT Part 2 material compressed into a four-day training. It offers you an opportunity to take both parts of the certification in one go. The CTT Part 1&2 Combined course is available in a face-to-face or virtual classroom setting. Once you have completed CTT Part 1&2 Combined, you will have access to all CTT reports. The course is based on the book, The Values-Driven Organisation.
- CTT Practitioner: This is the best CTT certification training if you intend to start using CTT in a practical way, either as an internal change agent or as an external consultant. It is designed to give you a deep understanding of the CTT Models and Tools, as well as practical experience on how to apply CTT in your cultural transformation process. The course also provides an opportunity for your own personal transformation experience.
